应用于卫星通信的波导极化跟踪器

    Waveguide Polarization Tracker Applied in Satellite Communication

    • 摘要: 文中基于极化合成原理提出了一种波导极化跟踪器,主要由极化跟踪器主体和电机控制结构两部分组成。其中极化跟踪器主体由3 dB定向耦合器和可调反射式移相器组成,可调反射式移相器采用山字形扼流结构的负载终端,能够有效防止能量泄露,实现输出相位的灵活调控。电机控制结构由驱动电机、滑动装置和传动装置组成。采用平面集成的结构设计,实现连续线极化跟踪。实验结果表明,文中所设计的波导极化跟踪器在卫星发射频段13.5 GHz~14.5 GHz范围内,回波损耗优于20 dB,输出端口隔离度高于18 dB,传输损耗低于0.3 dB。合成的线极化角度可以在0°~180°范围内连续扫描,对于不同频率极化角度调节误差不超过2°。

       

      Abstract: A waveguide polarization tracker is proposed based on the principle of polarization synthesis. It is mainly composed of polarization tracker and motor control structure. The polarization tracker consists of a 3 dB directional coupler and an adjustable reflective phase shifter. The adjustable reflective phase shifter adopts the load terminal of the mountain-shaped choke structure, which can effectively prevent energy leakage and realize flexible regulation of the output phase. The motor control structure consists of a drive motor, a sliding device and a transmission device. The structure adopts a planar integrated design to achieve continuous linear polarization tracking. The experimental results show that the return loss of the designed waveguide polarization tracker is better than 20 dB, the isolation of the output port is higher than 18 dB, and the transmission loss is lower than 0.3 dB in the range of 13.5 GHz~14.5 GHz. The synthesized linear polarization angle can be continuously scanned in the range of 0°~180°, and the adjustment error of polarization angle at different frequencies is no more than 2°.
