一种具有额外传输零点的四端口集总式无反射滤波器

    Four-port Lumped Reflectionless Filter with Additional Transmission Zero

    • 摘要: 文中研究了一种新型的具有额外传输零点的四端口无反射滤波器。通过在滤波电路拓扑的每个并联分支中添加一个电抗元件,就能够在阻带中引入一个新的传输零点,进而改善矩形系数。由于四端口无反射滤波器结构具有响应互补性质,上述零点还能使令带内传输曲线更加平坦。各个元件的理想值可以通过理论推导进而求解得出,然后再利用电路模型进行验证。与传统的四端口无反射滤波器相比,该滤波器的仿真结果表明,通过调整传输零点的位置可以得到形状可调、更加灵活的带外衰减曲线。传输曲线也可以被调谐为在通带和阻带中都具有等波纹响应的特例。最后,文中分别设计和制作了一个低通/高通滤波器和带通/带阻滤波器,测试数据与仿真结果吻合度较高,验证了设计的正确性。

       

      Abstract: A novel four-port filter topology is presented for obtaining additional transmission zero whereas remaining the reflectionless characteristics. By introducing additional capacitor/inductors in the shunt branches of the original filter topology, an extra transmission zero is observed in the stopband closed to the cut-off frequency, which is helpful for sharp rejection. Meanwhile, the extra zero contributes flatter in-band transmission due to the complementary nature of the four-port architecture. The ideal values of all elements are obtained after theoretic derivation, and then verified by using circuit models. Comparing with the traditional four-port reflectionless filters, the simulated results show that this filter has tunable out-of-band attenuation curve with more flexible shapes by adjusting the location of the transmission zeros. Particularly, it can be tuned to have an equiripple response in both passband and stopband. A lowpass/highpass filter and a bandpass/bandstop filter are designed and fabricated for verification. The experimental data agrees well with the prediction.
