基于CPW馈电的超宽带透明单极子天线

    Transparent Monopole Antenna with Ultra-wide Bandwidth Utilizing CPW Feeding

    • 摘要: 本研究设计了一种基于CPW馈电的超宽带透明单极子天线,适用于1 GHz~16 GHz通信频段。采用了溅射技术将铟锡氧化物(ITO)薄膜沉积在玻璃介质基板上作为天线辐射材料,以实现较高的透明度。天线的尺寸为60 mm×55 mm,由两层1.8 mm厚的玻璃介质基板构成,其中底层玻璃充当反射器,以提高低频段的增益。CST仿真结果表明,该天线具有16 GHz的超宽带性能且全频段最大增益为-3.2 dBi,实测与仿真结果一致,进一步验证了该天线的性能。负值增益的情况为ITO材料的特殊高损耗性质所致,在某些应用场景中仍然可以有效地接收信号,因此需要综合考虑其他性能指标来评估天线的适用性。尽管0~1 GHz范围内增益较低,但这一设计在1 GHz~16 GHz通信频段仍具有潜在的应用前景。

       

      Abstract: The purpose of this study is to design an ultra-wideband transparent monopole antenna based on CPW feeding, suitable for the 1 GHz~16 GHz communication frequency band. Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin film is deposited on a glass substrate using sputtering technology as the antenna radiating material to achieve high transparency. The antenna has dimensions of 60 mm×55 mm and consists of two layers of 1.8 mm-thick glass substrates, with the bottom glass serving as a reflector to enhance gain in the lower frequency bands. CST simulation results demonstrate that the antenna exhibits ultra-wideband performance covering 1 GHz~16 GHz with a maximum gain of -3.2 dBi across the entire frequency range, which is further validated by experimental measurements. The negative gain is attributed to the special high-loss properties of the ITO material, which still allows effective signal reception in certain application scenarios. Therefore, it is necessary to consider other performance metrics to evaluate the antenna′s suitability. Despite the challenge of lower gain in the 0~1 GHz range, this design still holds potential for applications in the 1 GHz~16 GHz communication frequency band.
