宽轴比带宽的圆极化模拟相控阵列

    Wide Axial Ratio Bandwidth Circularly Polarized Analog Phased Array

    • 摘要: 文中提出了一种宽轴比带宽的圆极化模拟相控阵列。该圆极化模拟相控阵列是包括了顺序旋转天线阵列、相控阵列射频电路和相控阵列数控电路的一套完整的相控阵列系统。首先,文中将顺序旋转馈电网络引入到圆极化模拟相控阵列中,并提出了90°~180°电桥混合形式顺序旋转馈电网络,使相控阵列在宽带宽范围内实现了低轴比性能。接着设计了相控阵列数控电路,通过高集成度电容片选方案,实现了对移相器阵列的低复杂相位控制。最后,为了验证性能,对相控阵列进行了仿真。仿真结果显示,圆极化模拟相控阵列的-10 dB阻抗带宽为2.15 GHz~2.81 GHz,并实现了±50°的扫描范围,法向波束轴比带宽覆盖范围是2.00 GHz~3.00 GHz。

       

      Abstract: In this paper, a circularly polarized analog phased array is proposed with wide axial ratio bandwidth. The circularly polarized analog phased array is composed of a sequential rotation antenna array, a phased array radio frequency circuit, and a phased array digital control circuit, forming a complete phased array system. Firstly, to optimize the axial ratio, the sequential rotation feed network is introduced into the circularly polarized analog phased array and a 90°~180° combination sequential rotation feed network is proposed. The sequential rotation feed network enables the phased array to achieve low axial ratio over a wide bandwidth range. Furthermore, a phased array digital control circuit is designed, with a low-complexity phase control utilizing integrated capacitor chip selection scheme. Finally, to validate the performance, simulations are conducted on the phased array. The simulation results show that the circularly polarized analog phased array achieves a -10 dB impedance bandwidth ranging from 2.15 GHz~2.81 GHz and a scanning range of ±50°. The axial ratio bandwidth of the normal beam covers from 2.00 GHz~3.00 GHz.
