毫米波超表面的成像散射特征改变研究

    Study on the Variation of Imaging Scattering Characteristics of Millimeter-wave Metasurfaces

    • 摘要: 当前,基于超表面的目标雷达散射截面特性调节已得到广泛研究,而进一步针对成像特征的调节正逐步成为研究和应用的热点。超表面凭借单元的局部回波调节能力,在其中体现出了直接的应用价值。文中基于W波段毫米波雷达成像系统,研究基于回波增强和对消减弱机理的相位超表面设计,并探讨其对于平板/二面角组合目标的图像特征的改变作用。文中针对成像特征改变需要,重点围绕扩展可调节范围开展工作。在回波增强型超表面效果良好的基础上,针对相位对消型超表面进行了优化设计,通过强化局部相位特征与采用小组对消排列方式,提升回波减缩效果。结合W波段超表面超薄、柔性、便于贴敷的结构特点,经实测验证了具备大调节范围的增强对消综合回波特性调节方式,可显著改变微波影像特征。

       

      Abstract: At present, the target radar cross section characteristic adjustment based on metasurface has been widely studied, and further adjustment of imaging features has gradually become a hot spot of research and application. The local echo adjustment ability based on metasurface has shown direct application value. The phase metasurface design based on echo enhancement and cancellation reduction mechanism based on W-band millimeter wave radar imaging system are studied, and the changes of image features of flat plate/dihedral angle combination targets is discussed in this paper. In order to meet the need of changing imaging features, this paper focuses on extending the adjustable range. Based on the good effect of echo enhanced metasurface, the optimization design of phase cancellation metasurface is carried out, and the echo reduction effect is enhanced by local phase feature enhancement and group cancellation arrangement. Combined with the structure characteristics of W-band metasurface, which is ultra-thin, flexible and easy to attach, it is verified that the enhanced cancelling integrated echo characteristic adjustment method with large adjustment range can significantly change the characteristics of microwave image.
