Abstract:
This paper introduces a novel design for cylindrical reverberation chambers to test electromagnetic compatibility of large weapons and equipment. Cylindrical reverberation chambers are numerically analyzed for lowest usable frequency and field uniformity. Results show that cylindrical reverberation chambers perform well above 6
fTE111, meeting IEC61000-4-21 requirements. This approach reduces testing costs, enhances efficiency, and accuracy, serving as a pivotal tool for electromagnetic compatibility testing of weaponry and equipment.
