Abstract: The Parameters of a broadband lumped-element circulator are optimized by using the scattering matrix eigenvalue relative to the frequency. The method of multiplies is used to transform constrained optimization into unconstrained optimization. The results calculated are nearly in accordance with the experimental results and prove isolating double peaks in broadband circulator experiment.
