    Techniques of High-Power Ultra-wideband Microwave Generation Based on Photoconductive Semiconductor Switches

    • 摘要: 光控光电导开关因其具有传统高功率脉冲器件所不具有的优良特性 ,在产生高功率微波脉冲领域具有很大的发展潜力。利用光控光电导开关可以直接从直流电源产生高功率的微波脉冲。本文首先介绍了光控光电导开关的结构和两种不同的工作模式 ,以及它在不同工作模式下的工作特性 ,然后叙述了利用光控光电导开关产生高功率超宽带微波的几种技术

       

      Abstract: Optically controlled photoconductive semiconductor switches (PCSS's) have potential importance in generation of high power microwaves due to their unique advantages compared with traditional high power pulsed devices. Microwave can be generated directly from DC source by applying PCSS. The configuration of PCSS and their two operation modes are described in this paper, and the characteristics of the two modes also are presented. Various techniques for the generation of high power microwaves using PCSS are discussed.
