Abstract:
A method to calculate the kinetic inductance for coupled HTS(High Tc Superconducting ) microstrip lines is proposed. That is, the odd-and-even mode inductances are obtained from the odd-and-even mode characteristic impedances, for finite t , the external inductance formula are developed by modifying the width W and the distance S between the strips, then different partial derivative expressions are given for four cases in order to calculate the corresponding kinetic inductances by using the incremental inductance rule and analyzing the different incremental inductance properties for different thicknesses. It is expected to be useful in design and analysis of HTS microwave circuits. The reliability of the model has been verified by two application examples.
