Abstract: Normal E plane double metal strip waveguide filters have high stopband performance, but the band is narrow. After analyzing this structure a method to get wider band and keep the high performance for this structure is presented in this paper. A Ka band E plane waveguide filter is designed.The numerical results agree well with the experimental data.
