Abstract:
The low-pass filter formed by the combined non-periodic defected ground structu re (CNPDGS) is simulated by finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method in this paper. The results of the simulation show good agreements with the results of m easurement in the reference. It shows that the analysis method and the calculati on in the paper are effective and correct. Furthermore, the effect of the lattic e dimensions on the characteristic of the low-pass filter formed by the CNPDGS structure is studied.The curves of characteristic varying with the dimensions are given. At last, low-pass filters with 0.7GHz and 6.5GHz pass-band are designed, respectively.
