Abstract:
Oceanic clutter can significantly affect the radar guidance performance.Numerical simulation of oceanic clutter under various oceanic situations is applicable to simulating clutter in the laboratory, designing the guidance radar and analyzing the radar surveillance. This paper numerically simulates the oceanic spectrum of multi-path clutter with employing the bi-scale model of rough sea surface and making use of the oceanic spectrum to model the time-varying randomly rough oceanic surface. When the heights of the transmiter and receiver, and their distance are given, the effective area of scattering is calculated.Bistatic scattering field E(t) and power spectrum of the receiver(oceanic clutter spectrum) are numerically simulated.
