Abstract:
Wide slot microstrip antenna is analyzed by means of finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method.Using Gaussian pulse source excitation and non-uniform grids,the parameters of antenna,such as resonance frequency and bandwidth,can be obtained by FDTD method.The distributions of resonance frequency and bandwidth of antenna according with the slot width are obtained.While the slot width is ranging from 1mm to 30 mm,the resonance frequency is from 3.4GHz to 2.3GHz and the 10dB bandwidth of the antenna is from 9% to 28%.
