Abstract:
The transmission characteristics of double screen ring element frequency selective surfaces (FSS), double screen Y loop element FSS and double screen Y element FSS were analyzed by generalized the scattering matrix and the moment method. With filming technology and lithography, the corresponding element figure single screen FSS was produced, then with precision fabrication technology, the corresponding double screen FSS was fabricated by two single screen FSS. And the transmission coefficients of it were measured by vector network analyzer in the microwave darkroom. The agreement between the calculated and measured is good. The results show that, the transmission coefficient curves have characteristics of the broad bandwidth and fast drop cut off, the electromagnetic scattering properties have great improvements as compared with single screen FSS.
