Propagation Characters Analysis in Rectangular Waveguide Filled with ENG and MNG

摘要: 提出了使用磁单负介质和电单负介质组合填充矩形波导结构,在填充波导内电磁场量纵向场法的基础上,应用边界条件得到了双层单负介质填充波导后传播常数解。研究了在不同的介电常数、磁导率和模式下,传播常数、频率和填充介质厚度之间的关系,提出按照一定比例关系和介质参数填充后的波导的带通传播特性。Abstract: A novel waveguide structure is presented which is filled with materials combined with epsilon-negative and mu-negative. There are many especial electromagnetic characters in this waveguide. The propagation constant is discussed based on electromagnetic fields in waveguide by it's boundary condition. The relation among propagation constant, frequence and one of the medium's thickness is analyzed under different permittivities, permeabilities and modes. Some different conclusions from conventional rectangular waveguide are presented.
