Abstract:
A novel miniaturized frequency selective surfaces (FSS) are proposed. The unit cells of the structures consist of fourrectangle spiral-shaped frequency selective surfaces arranging differently on the interface of a dielectric slab. Simulation by CSTMicrowave Studio is conducted to analyze the character of the structure and performances are compared to that of the meander line.The results show that the novel FSSs perform much better than the meander line structure in miniaturization (0.083λ0×0.083λ0), andthey have excellent angle stability and polarization stability, too.
