等离子鞘套中的电波传播问题研究

    Study of the Propagation of Electromagnetic Waves in PlasmaSheath

    • 摘要: 高速飞行器再入时表面形成的等离子鞘套对飞行器的通讯联络、飞行控制产生不可忽略的影响,本文研究再入飞行器包覆等离子体对电波传播特性影响的关键问题。通过研究空间高速飞行器包覆等离子体的形成物理机理,根据N-S动力学方程及k-epsilon 湍流模型,模拟高速飞行器表面包覆等离子体的流场参数,计算了包覆流场中的电子密度及等离子鞘套对电波的衰减,并且根据电磁窗口装置原理图,对磁化等离子体中的电波传播进行了仿真,结果表明该装置可明显降低电磁波衰减,对飞行器再入控制、通信研究具有明显意义。

       

      Abstract: A vehicle flying in the atmosphere at high velocities becomes surrounded by plasma sheath that affect the propagation ofelectromagnetic waves to and from the vehicle. This thesis concentrates on some of key problems about propagation ofelectromagnetic wave in plasma sheath. A numerical simulation of irflow around vehicle using dynamic equations and thek-epsilon turbulence model is investigated. The electron density distribution obtained by using quilibrium chemistry model and theamount of attenuation of the signal is calculated. According to the "electromagnetic window" schematic, the ropagation tromagnetic wve in an inhomogeneous magnetized medium is simulated. Simulation results demonstrate the method is veryeffective in attenuation diminution. These sions are meaningful in theory and practice research on reentry communication.
