Abstract: A wideband directional Monopole antenna is designed. The antenna is based on the planar rectanglemonopole antenna, by folding the ground of the radiation patch; the antenna can achieve higher gain compared toOmni-directional antenna. Simulation results show that the antenna has a wide bandwidth (0.9~1.94GHz) and high gain, lowRCS and the directivity of the antenna is good in the whole working band。
