Abstract:
A printed inverted-F monopole antenna is designed for Radio Frequency Identification in this paper.Microstrip line is used in the proposed antenna for easy compositiving in RF circuit, and also impedance transform is appliedfor achieving wide impedance bandwidth. A parasitic patch is added just at the top of the presented antenna for gainenhencing.After be modeled, simulated and optimized in this paper, The presented antenna operates well impedance bandwidth of 2.28~2.51GHz for VSWR<2,about 10 percent relative bandwidth. For the use of RFID system,the antennaachieves VSWR<1.35 at 2.401GHz~2.409GHz, and gain value >2.36dBi. The designed antenna has advantages of smallsize, light weight and low price for wide using in RFID systems operating at 2.4GHz.
