Abstract:
A routine direction finding array antenna composed of element antennas is improved on the basis of widebandwidth element antenna, and a kind of new integrative direction finding antenna is realized by the way of changing arraystructure form. The performance of two sorts of direction finding arrays is compared by electromagnetic simulation softwareHFSS and interferometer direction finding principle. The research indicates that the new integrative array not only includes thefunction of routine direction fnder array, but also has the characteristic of wave beam forming, flexible control and highantenna gain than the routine array. The merits of the new array can improve system sensitive performance and provide systemwith more function. The new integrative array is very fit for wide bandwidth integrative direction finding system.
