    Tri-band Microstrip Antenna for GPS Application

    • 摘要: 设计了一款用于全球卫星定位系统(GPS)的单点馈电圆极化微带天线,它是由四块基片叠层构成的,其中,最下面一层基片上是单点馈电的四端口混合环的馈电网络,提供天线圆极化所需要的90°相移的两路等幅信号,其它基片上分别有一方形辐射贴片,实现天线的三频工作。仿真结果表明:该天线可覆盖L1\L2\L5 等3 个GPS 频段,每个频段的工作带宽不小于24MHz;在(1.17-1.6)GHz 频带内电压驻波比不大于2,有良好的阻抗匹配特性;此外,天线的波束宽度和圆极化性能满足指标要求。

       

      Abstract: A single feed circularly Polarized Antenna is proposed for GPS application. It is composed of four substrates. Thebottom layer of the antenna is a single-fed four-port hybrid ring in order to provide the required equal amplitudes and 90 ° phase shiftsignals for circular polarization. Other substrates, respectively, has a square patch to achieve the tri-band performance. The simulatedresults show that: the antenna can cover all GPS bands (L1\L2\L5), which has 24MHz bandwidth on each operating frequency. It hasgood impedance matching characteristics in (1.17-1.6) GHz band, because the VSWR is less than 2; In addition, the properties ofbeam width and circular polarization all can meet the demand.
