Abstract: An X-band ferroelectric thin film phase shifter is fabricated which is based on transmission line loaded variablecapacitors periodically. According to testing, phase shift increases with DC bias increasing and insertion loss decreasing. At the 32DC bias, the maximum phase shift 140°is obtained. However, the maximum insertion loss is -10 dB and the return loss is betterthan -10 dB.
