一种基于径向波导的Ka 波段宽带功分器设计

    A Ka Band Power Divider Based on Radial Waveguide

    • 摘要: 本文提出了一种新型的基于径向波导的Ka 波段八路功率分配器。为了拓展该功率分配器的带宽,我们采用了一种对称的过模同轴波导将输入信号馈入径向波导,同时在径向波导的底部采用阶梯阻抗变换技术实现阻抗的匹配,根据电磁仿真模拟,其-20dB 回波损耗的带宽大约是28.57%(从30 至40 千兆赫),而且在该频段此结构能够得到良好的幅度不平衡度和相位不平衡度。这种结构不仅具有宽带宽,低插入损耗和高输出功率等优点,而且体积小,功率合成效率和散热效率高,具有毫米波宽带大功率合成应用的潜力。

       

      Abstract: This paper proposes an improved 1:8 power divider based on radial waveguide at ka-band. To widen the bandwidth ofthe divider/combiner, an axially symmetric oversized coaxial waveguide is used to transform input to the radial waveguide, and atthe bottom of the radial waveguide, stepped-impedance technology is used to realize the impedance match. According to EMsimulations, the simulated -20dB return loss bandwidth is approximately 28.57% (ranging from 30 to 40 GHz), and goodamplitude imbalance and phase imbalance are observed in the band. This structure has properties of not only a wide band, low insertion loss and high output power, but also a small size, a high power combining efficiency and efficient heat sinking, and haspotential for illimeter-wave broad-band high power combination.
