雷达中频接收模块的AGC 电路设计

    AGC Circuit Design for Radar IF Receiver Module

    • 摘要: 自动增益控制电路是雷达接收机模块中的关键控制电路之一,其作用是改善接收机的动态范围。本文根据某型雷达中频接收模块的技术要求,设计了自动增益控制电路。该电路的设计难点在于:雷达使用不同的脉冲,脉冲宽度、重复周期变化较大。如何准确检测脉冲功率成为关键。本文以FPGA 加ARM 的方式,选用对数检波器,利用脉冲沿触发采集数据,判断脉冲功率,解决了设计中的难点问题。实测结果表明该电路在1ms 的时间内完成了自动增益控制,输入动态范围达60dB(-50dBm~+10dBm)。

       

      Abstract: Automatic gain control circuit is one of the key control circuits in radar receiver modules for improving receive dynamic range. According to the technical requirements of a certain type of radar IF receiver module, an Automatic gain control circuit have been designed in this paper. The difficult of the design is detecting pulsed power accurately on different pulse width and repetition periods condition. To resolve this problem, It takes advantage of the pulse edge to touch off data acquisition and judge pulse power with logarithmic detector based on FPGA and ARM in this paper . Experimental results show that the circuit completes the automatic gain control in 1ms as well as the input dynamic is range of 60dB (-50dBm~+10dBm).
