Abstract: In this paper, principle and application circuit of a small-step wide range digital attenuator is presented. By combining the advantage of high speed microwave switch, precision fixed attenuator and monolithic digital control attenuator, we solve the conflict between small-step and wide attenuator range, and achieve a better result.
