CNT 在THz 波段散射特性的研究

    Study of Scattering Properties by CNTs in the Band of THz

    • 摘要: 本文研究了单壁碳纳米管在THz 波段的散射特性。首先,建立了金属性碳纳米管散射体模型。通过严格的级数展开,给出了单壁碳纳米管散射场和透射场的表达式。其次,以TM 波为例,分别在平面波正入射及斜入射的条件下,研究其散射场及散射宽度的特性。通过散射场、感应电流、散射宽度,有效地描述了碳纳米管在THz 的散射特性。研究结果对利用碳纳米管进行THz 的探测具有一定意义。

       

      Abstract: The scattering characteristics by carbon nanotubes in the band of terahertz have been studied. Firstly, the model of scattering by metallic carbon nanotubes has been established. Modal functions give accurate expressions of single-walled carbon nanotubes’ scattered field and transmitted field through rigorous series expansion. Secondly, TM wave is set as an example to study the scattered field and its scattering width properties at normal incidence and oblique incidence by plane wave. The parameters such as scattered field, induced current and scattering width convey the scattering properties efficiently. The results can contribute to terahertz detection technology on a certain extend.
