Simulation and Experiment of High Efficiency Slow Wave Structure of a 26.5-40GHz Helix-TWT

摘要: 优化高频系统慢波结构参数,分析了慢波结构的材料及T 型夹持杆对高频损耗的影响,设计了一种未加载翼片结构的双渐变螺线26.5-40GHz 40W 宽带行波管,试验测试宽频带内电子效率超过12%,采用4 级降压收集极后总效率大于37%。Abstract: A new 26.5-40GHz double tape helix-TWT without metal vanes has been developed at the Institute of Electronic,Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main methods include the optimization of RF loss of slow wave structure with T-shape supported rods and materials of metal helix and envelope. The test results with a 4-stage multistage depressed collector show that this device has an average power of 40W, an electronic efficiency of more than 12%, and an overall efficiency of more than 37%.
