衰减器位置对宽带螺旋线行波管功率凹陷的影响

    Effect of the Attenuator Position to the Power Hole of Broadband Helix TWT

    • 摘要: 宽带螺旋线行波管的输出功率往往会在某个频率点附近形成所谓的功率凹陷,功率凹陷的存在严重影响了行波管的性能。理论分析表明,行波管衰减器的位置对功率凹陷的改善有一定的影响。本文通过改变衰减器的位置,利用大信号软件模拟仿真,了解衰减器位置变化对螺旋线行波管的影响,提高凹陷点的功率以达到改善行波管输出性能的目的。

       

      Abstract: The output power of broadband helix TWT often form so-called power hole around a frequency. The existing power hole can affect the performance of the traveling wave tube seriously. Theoretical analysis shows that the power hole can be improved by changing the position of the attenuator of the TWT. The relationship between the attenuator’s position and the output power was obtained by the large signal calculation to increasing the power of power hole and improving the output performance of the TWT.
