Abstract: The design calculation and test progress are presented in this paper. Electron gun, focus system, output circuit and beam-wave interaction are calculated by computer simulation. The output performance with CW output power 15 kW, relative bandwidth 2.3% was obtained. The first sample of klystron get CW output power 7.4～13.8 kW.
