Abstract: With the development of millimeter wave(MMW) technology，the MMW radar has been studied and developed．The characteristics and applicable requirements of gyro-TWT are described in this paper. The applications of three kind of modulator in MMW radar transmitter are discussed in this paper，and the development tendency and significance of the MMW radar transmitter are presented in the end.
