Abstract:
In order to find out the effect of FeSiAl powder shape on properties of microwave attenuating coatings, different shapes of FeSiAl powder are manufactured by using four types of crushing methods, and properties of FeSiAl sintering coatings are investigated. The results show that the sintering coatings possess good microwave attenuating properties with FeSiAl granule in the shape of flake or irregular edge angle, on which there are brittleness cleavage faces. The analyses show that sintering coatings with these powder shape characteristics possess higher loss tangent of permeability and attenuation constant.
