Abstract:
Isotropic pyrolytic graphite (PG) has been widely used in many fields as a new carbon-material because of its many outstanding properties. In this paper, an isotropic pyrolytic graphite was metalized with Cr-Ni films by Arc Ion Plating, and the bond strength of the films was analyzed by scratch testing. Furthermore, the wettability of the metallized surface was evaluated using Ag-Cu brazes. It was indicated that the mechanical properties of the coatings and wetting properties with Ag-Cu brazing alloy are fine all.
