一种应用于柱面共形天线的EBG 结构设计

    Design of an EBG Structure with Application to the CylindricalConformal Antenna

    • 摘要: 表面波以及阵元之间的耦合一直以来都是共形天线设计中的难题。本文设计了一种新型EBG 结构应用于柱形共形贴片天线,该结构采用基底打孔型EBG,孔的形状为椭圆形,使得天线的辐射频率落在EBG 结构的带阻频率内。从而达到抑制表面波辐射和降低耦合的目的。文中分别从单元尺寸、介质层介电常数和介质层厚度对共形天线性能影响的角度进行了较细致的分析。

       

      Abstract: Surface wave and the coupling between the arrays were always the main problems in the design of conformalantenna. This paper presents a new type of cylindrical EBG structure applied to conformal patch antennas, this structure used thehole-type EBG structure, and the shape of these holes is oval, so that the radiation frequency of the antenna structure falls in theband-stop frequencies of EBG. This could inhibit surface wave radiation and reduce the coupling. Then this paper analyzed theimpact to this antenna from the cell size, the thickness of dielectric layer and the relative dielectric constant respectively.
