Abstract:
Based on finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, the effect of mobile phone integrated with EBGstructures on human health is analyzed in this paper. A new uniplanar EBG structure is presented, whose unit cell is composedof a square patch with slits on each side. The simulation analyses of the specific absorption rate (SAR) of PIFA antenna onmobile phone with and without EBG structures are made by using SEMCAD software. The result shows that the eduction ofthe radiation towards the direction of human head and the SAR value by integrating EBG structures with mobile phoneeffectively.
