Abstract: Adaptive antenna applied to satellite communication system can effectively enhance anti-jamming performanceof system. However, Communication interrupt maybe arose when jam is present in satellite’s overlay region. Smart nullingtechnique of satellite communication, which uses maximum quantity of information transmission criterion for strategies ofadaptive antenna’s application, is put forward. In the end, synthetic effectiveness of the system using smart nulling technique isanalyzed and evaluated, and performance of the system is compared with those of systems using conventional nulling techniqueand without nulling technique. Synthetic effectiveness evaluation shows that smart nulling technique can optimize theanti-jamming performance of satellite communication.
