Abstract: In this paper, a Ka-band total power radiometer system is discussed, the models of the three key parts of radiometer, Cassegrain receiving antenna, waveguide/microstrip transition and millimeter wave detection circuit, are analyzed, designed, and then optimized in ADS and HFSS. The optimized simulation results meet the design requirements.
