Abstract:
In view of the parameter association and unit size inaccuracies in the design of linearly polarized to circular ly polarized transformation reflectarray, this article introduces a new method based on independent and symmetric conditions. Combining the phase compensation analysis and polarization controlling to achieve decorrelation independently,it provides a new thinking for the overall design of linearly polarized to circularly polarized transformation reflectarray and the structure of units. Utilizing this method and the dual-stack crossed feeds, the design of linearly polarized to circularly polarized transfor mation reflectarrayantenna can be achieved, with1 dB grain bandwidth24%, 3dB axial ratio bandwidth35%, and aperture ef ficiency up to 48. 7%.
