Abstract:
Electromagnetic band gap (EBG) antenna is an antenna radiation aperture can improve the model and gain of antenna. Firstly, the paper by using the FSS structure as EBG reflector, pyramidal horn as radiation source, one can work in the 29.7-30.2GHz designed, the maximum gain of EBG antenna is 23dB. Secondly, a 7 horn array is simulated and analyzed. At last, used EBG antenna as the feed of single reflector multi-beam antenna and study the coverage characteristics. Proved the good performance of the EBG antenna with, and provides a new method for the design of future miniaturized reflector antennas.
