Abstract:
Considering a synthesis of wideband linear sparse arrays with the design constraints of the number of elements,the array aperture,the minimum and the maximum element spacing,a differential evolution algorithm based on solution vector mapping is proposed to suppress the peak sidelobe level of the wideband array. The optimization algorithm avoids the infeasible solution during the optimization process by inserting a vector mapping between the element spaces and optimization parameters. Then the multiple constraints optimization is transformed to a non-constraint problem,also the size of the searching area of the solution is reduced. The simulation result shows that the optimization array is an effective approach to reduce PSLL in wideband. It can solve sparse array with more constraint than the recently reported algorithm,and the robustness and the computational efficiency could be greatly improved.
