Abstract: The paper built the mine wireless through-the-earth communication magnetic model by FEKO7.0.It has designed three kinds of ferrite models that including different volumes，different turns while the same input resistance to explore the magnetic field distribution on the ground.The frequence is the VLF 15 kHz. It showed that the three kinds of ferrite models on the ground using both the vertical and horizontal installation could produce three different orders of magnitude of the magnetic field intensity and it can be detected by the electromagnetic sensors.The study also found that the magnitude of the magnetic field intensity is related to the volume and the placement forms of the ferrite antenna while horizontal type could generate larger magnetic field intensity than vertical type. Therefore，we use the magnetic field instead of modulated electromagnetic waves as the medium of the mine wireless through-the-earth communication is feasible.
