Abstract:
A novel six- band PIFA antenna is proposed for 4G mobile terminals. In this design,inverted L- shaped,U- shaped and S-shaped radiation patches are used to achieve multi-frequency characteristics;the point that lower than the resonant frequency is achieved to impedance matching by shorted load technology;instead of the traditional direct feed,coupled feed can reduce the imped? ance shake well,and get a wider band. The antenna’s size is only 70 mm×16 mm×1.5 mm,and this antenna can cover the six-band mo? bile communications:LTE700,CDMA/GSM850,GSM900,DCS1800,PCS1900,WCDMA/UMTS2100. The results show that in the working bands,S11 is less than or equal to -6 dB,VSWR is less than or equal to 3. The proposed antenna meets the engineering require? ments,and its good performance verifies the feasibility of the design.
