小型圆极化单臂螺旋喇叭天线的设计与实现
Miniaturized Circularly Polarized Horn Antenna with a Single-Arm Spiral Structure

摘要: 提出一种单臂螺旋与圆锥喇叭相结合的天线结构,使得天线在较小尺寸空间内达到了所提指标要求。首先,该天线通过引入金属圆盘地,实现了50 W同轴线直接馈电,取代了传统巴伦结构,缩减了天线剖面尺寸;其次,通过引入末端吸收电阻和圆锥喇叭结构,在较少螺旋圈数的条件下,对天线低频段圆极化性能予以改善,并使得天线在45°波束范围内圆极化增益得到较大提高,此外,圆锥喇叭结构的引入也一定程度上改善了单臂螺旋天线波束指向偏移的现象。仿真与实测结果表明,该天线在40 mm′40 mm′24 mm 的空间内,在X波段实现了较好圆极化性能。Abstract: A compacted antenna is proposed with combining single-arm helix and cone horn, which meets the requirements in a small space. The radiation part of the antenna is a single-arm spiral (SAS) structure,which is directly fed by 50 W coaxial line through a small disc/ ground-plane, and this feeding method replaces the traditional balun which often used in conventional two-arm balanced-mode spiral antenna. Due to the spiral coil is fewer, the absorption resistance is loaded in the arm end to improve the performance of circular polarization. The conical horn structure is put ahead to improve gain of the antenna in the range of 45° beam, and the phenomenon of beam direction deviation is also reduced. The results of simulation and measurement show that the designed antenna has a good circularly polarized radiation performance in X band with the size of 40 mm′40 mm′24mm.
