一种人工表面等离激元的小型化毫米波天线

    Spoof Surface Plasma Polariton Miniaturized Millimeter-Wave Antenna

    • 摘要: 设计了一款基于人工表面等离子体激元(Spoof Surface Plasma Polariton,SSPP)的小型化高效率定向辐射天线。在介质基板表面印刷了共面波导(CPW)、波矢匹配结构和SSPP 传输线三种结构,其中波矢匹配结构与共面波导部分相结合,更好地完成阻抗匹配。此外,因人工表面等离子体激元可以将电场约束在天线表面的凹槽中,所以能使天线达到高效的定向辐射。测试结果表明:该天线工作带宽为26~32 GHz,最大增益达到10.44 dB,平均效率为94.3%,可应用于5G高频领域。

       

      Abstract: A high-efficiency and end-fire radiating miniaturized antenna based on spoof surface plasma polaritons (SSPP) is proposed. Single-sided printing on the dielectric board includes three parts: coplanar waveguide (CPW), wave vector matching structure and SSPP transmission line. The wave vector matching structure is combined with the coplanar waveguide part to better complete impedance matching. In addition, because spoof surface plasma polariton can confine the electric field in the grooves on the surface of the antenna, the antenna can achieve efficient directional radiation. The antenna test results show that the working bandwidth is 26-32 GHz, the maximum gain is 10.44 dB, and the average efficiency is 94.3%. This antenna has some potential applications for the high frequency field of 5G.
