Abstract:
The real-time delayer applied in subarray configuration is a common way to improve the performance of wideband phased array. Based on analysing the characteristic of different electronic errors in the real time delayer, a new compensation method for multi-layerd subarray in wideband large phased array antenna is proposed,by combining the secondary time delayer and TR module to modify the errors of time delay,amplitude and phase in RF circuit. Demonstrated by the simulation result of two layered scheme of real-time delayers in one dimensional phased array, it shows that this method can not only provide the excellent correcting of beam pointing for wide-band and wide-scan phased array antenna,but also sufficiently decrease the complexity of real-time delayers.
