A High Isolation Full-Bandwidth Linear Polarized Diplexer for Satellite Communication

摘要: 文中设计了一种Ku 频段新型全金属高隔离度线极化双工器,它由一个正交模耦合器(Ortho-modeTransducer,OMT)和两个不同频段的滤波器组成。OMT 采用非对称无隔膜形式,在保持结构紧凑的同时实现了全带宽通信,具有优异的线极化特性。为抑制带外信号,提高双工器端口隔离度,上行链路通道采用了结构紧凑、损耗小的消失模带通滤波器,下行链路通道采用结构简单的阶梯阻抗低通滤波器。测试结果表明,线极化双工器覆盖了卫星通信上下行链路的全部带宽(上行:13. 75~14. 5 GHz,下行:10. 7~12. 75 GHz),在工作频段范围内反射系数小于-15 dB,端口隔离度优于85 dB。Abstract: A novel Ku-band all-metal high-isolation waveguide linearly-polarized diplexer is designed in this paper. The diplexer consists of an ortho-mode transducer (OMT) and two different frequency filters. The OMT adopts the form of asymmetric non-diaphragm and has excellent linear polarization characteristics. The structure enables full bandwidth communication while keeping the structure compact. In order to suppress the out-of-band signal and improve the port isolation, the uplink channel adopts an evanescent-mode band-pass filter, and the downlink channel adopts a stepped-impedance low-pass filter. The test results show that the linear polarized diplexer can cover the entire bandwidth of Ku-band satellite communication (uplink: 13. 75-14. 5 GHz, downlink: 10. 7-12. 75 GHz), the reflection coefficient is less than -15 dB in the working frequency range, and the port isolation is better than 85 dB.
