基于分时多频的噪声系数快速测试方法

    Noise Figure Fast Measurement Method by Time Division Multi-Frequency Technique

    • 摘要: 为了解决数字T/ R 组件测试效率低的问题,文中提出了一种新型的基于分时多频的噪声系数快速测试方法。该方法将测试频率记录于控制信息中,在一次测试过程中采样多频率的基带数据,减少计算机和记录设备之间的通信次数,缩短了噪声系数的测试时间。利用宽带数字T/ R 组件进行试验验证,相比于传统测试方法,在保持相同测量精度情况下,9 个频率点时的测试时间可以缩短32%,41 个频率点时则可以缩短40%。由此表明,随着测试频率点数的增加,该方法可以显著提升噪声系数的测试效率。

       

      Abstract: In this article, a novel fast noise figure measurement method with time division multi-frequency technique is proposed to solve the low measurement efficiency of the digital T/ R module. The proposed method can sample multiple frequency points′baseband data during single measurement process by recording the test frequency into the control information. In that way, the communication number between computer and recording equipment and the noise figure measurement time can be decreased. A wideband digital T/ R module is utilized to validate the propose method. Compared with the traditional method, the measurement time can be reduced by 32% for 9 frequency points and 40% for 41 frequency points with the similar accuracy. The measurement results demonstrate the proposed method can significantly enhance the noise figure measurement efficiency with the increment of the under-test frequency points.
