Abstract:
As the theory of electromagnetic time reversal becomes increasingly refined, implementation methods increasingly mature, and its applications grow more widespread, research into electromagnetic time reversal has gradually emerged as a distinct and independent academic discipline known as "Time-Reversed Electromagnetics". This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the progress in the field of Time-Reversed Electromagnetics, systematically addressing three main aspects: the theory, implementation, and applications of electromagnetic time reversal. With this foundation in place, this paper also offers recommendations for future research directions.
