Abstract:
Microwave photonics processing technology refers to the use of photonic methods to accomplish operations such as frequency mixing, frequency doubling, filtering, phase shifting, time delay, analog-to-digital conversion, etc. It is one of the key technologies supporting the development of next-generation radar systems. This paper analyzes the advantages of microwave photonics technology in microwave signal processing and discusses various ways to apply microwave photonics processing technology in radar systems. Furthermore, considering the future processing requirement of radar systems, this paper provides a perspective on the future development of microwave photonic processing technology by integrating it with optical computing.
