射频与毫米波功率放大器新进展

    New Advances in RF and Millimeter Wave Power Amplifiers

    • 摘要: 近年来,随着5G 演进和未来6G 技术的研究与突破,以及在应用端如物联网、智能驾驶等领域的技术迭代升级,都对射频与毫米波系统的设计提出更多的需求和更高的要求。功率放大器作为发射机的关键部件,其特性直接影响发射系统的信号覆盖距离、传输质量和功耗等指标。为了研制高性能射频与毫米波功率放大器,提出了各种新技术。文章将从有源放大器、无源网络的传输线型实现、系统电路架构三方面对功率放大器取得的新进展进行介绍。

       

      Abstract: In recent years, with the evolution of fifth-generation (5G) and the research and breakthrough of the future sixth-generation (6G) technology, as well as the iterative upgrading of technologies in applications such as the internet of things and intelligent driving, more and more requirements and higher requirements are put forward for the design of RF and millimeter wave systems. As a very important module in the front end of the RF transmitting system, the performance of the power amplifier directly affects the signal coverage distance, transmission quality, and power consumption of the transmitter. To develop high-performance RF and millimeter-wave power amplifiers, a variety of new techniques have been proposed. This paper introduces the new advances of power amplifier from three aspects: active amplifier, realization of transmission line type for passive networks, and system circuit architectures.
