Abstract: Analysis of waveguide E plane metal septum fil ter is performed by applying the conservation of complex power technique.Compare d with generally used mode matching method,more accurate results can be obtained when correction to the electrical wall condition in section of septum is introd uced.The analysis can be programed easily.This analytical method is helpful for waveguide E Plane metal septum filter design,hence suitable for engineering use .
